Microsoft Project and EPM Return on Investment (ROI)

Project Professional 2007 and EPM, and the now new Project Professional 2010 and EPM, have consistently delivered the most cost and benefit effective solutions for Acumen clients.
The Microsoft Project family of desktop and server products make it easy to visualise project plans and track project progress.
Keeping projects on track, in time and within spec have obvious ROI benefits.
Acumen EPM is able to measure status quo for clients, determine engagement goals, agree acceptance and achievement criteria across a range of qualitative and quantitative metrics. Consequently, the value of engaging Acumen is continually demonstrated.
Benefits Realisation

From the experience we've gained working with different departments, Acumen EPM has come up with the percentage adoption of Microsoft Project across these departments. We have found that the Finance, IT and Facilities department have gained most benefit from adopting Microsoft Project. Human Resource and Marketing departments have proven to use features from Microsoft Project but not as extensively as the other sectors.
But it doesn't mean they can't get more value from planning change and tracking the progress to success. Or that departments that have traditionally used Microsoft Project more thoroughly can't release significantly more benefits. A key asset in realising benefits by using Microsoft Project 2007 or Microsoft Project 2010 effectively could be Acumen's Microsoft Project Health Check or engaging Acumen to facilitate a Microsoft Project Best Practice Workshop.
